Support Options Ltd is an Independent Domiciliary Care Agency. We provide a varied range of specialist support services for people with learning disabilities in the Swansea, Neath Port Talbot and Carmarthenshire areas.

 

We promote a caring and supportive atmosphere that will enable and encourage service users to live as fulfilling and independant a lifestyle as possible. Our ethos is to ensure that service users have the same choices, respect and dignity that are afforded to all members of the community.

 

The field of learning disabilities is the most diversified of all social care services. Support Options will encompass this diversity and provide services that reflect individual need and promote equality. Our Services
 
The principle activity of Support Options is to deliver support services to adults aged 18 years and over with Learning Disabilities.
 
Support Options Services can be purchased via local authorities, social services departments or privately. Support Options welcome service users who receive direct payments, or have Independant Living Fund arrangements to indiviually purchase support.
 
These services may include support to:
  • Complete personal care tasks
  • Maintain a healthy lifestyle
  • Manage and maintain a tenancy
  • Enjoy Social and Recreational opportunities
  • Maintain a positive lifestyle
What we offer
 
All referrals to the agency will be considered and capacity to support the individual discussed prior to an assessment being undertaken.

 

A Service User Support Needs Assessment will be undertaken to determine whether the agency has the capacity to support the identified individual. This assessment will ascertain the support needs and wishes of the service user, and record the relevant information imperative to their care.

 

The assessment process is not completed in isolation, Support Options will promote and encourage multi working partnerships, to ensure that consistency and continuity is upheld.
